Overview
The STEW-MAP is a research project from the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) about people who care for local environments in the four-state Chicago Wilderness region. Over 400 environmental stewardship groups and organizations have filled out the STEW MAP survey.
Stewardship can be defined as environmental restoration, monitoring, education, conservation/preservation, advocacy, and/or taking care of a particular site or patch of land.
